A different schoolsystem

I went to a presentation about the Canadian schools. At first I thought  it was a kind of borring, but after a couples of minutes it was okay.

I remember that I was sitting beside a very old man and he slept through the whole presentation. His head was lacking on my shoulder and he salivated on me.

The woman, who were presenting the subject had a strong american accent and nice laughter. Her outfit was very funky and casual, for shirt she had a very orange top with a sun in the middle, for jeans it was normally black jeans. I started to relax more under her presentation.

I forgot to say that her name is Diana. Diana told the audience about the basics in Canadian school. I learned, if I was a student in Canada I would be at Junior High School also known as middle school. After middle school I would be at High School. I think it will be very exciting to joining the canadian High School in a while. It will be a little difficult, because they have english and french-language school, so I need to practice my english if I will be at a Canadian School.

Diana told us that in the canadians school they will have to wear a dress code, so if I was at a Canadian school it would be weird in the beginning, because I’m not used to wear a specific dress or outfit.  In my opinion you don’t have to wear a specific dress or outfit.

They have private schools, which is a little bit different than a public schools. In the private schools some of the classes is splits between girls and boys. At the first time I thought that it will be cool with a class only with girls, but at the same time there will be a lot of gossip and that kind of stuff.

At the end of the presentation Diana told about how they have religious schools. I haven’t heard about that kind of schools before. I think that  we need some schools like them, because people have different faiths. It’s very important that people are allow to have their own faith. The religious schools are for jewish, muslim and christian people.

I went home to the hotel with a good experience.

I have got a lot to think about!
